About Me

Welcome! My name is Jaimmie Calderon. I was born and raised in the bay area and currently live in Oakley, CA with my husband and 2 sons (Roman 5 yrs and Sage 3 yrs). I am a full time Registered Nurse who works in the operating room.  I found ISR when a youtube video went viral of a baby falling into a pool and rolling onto her back to float independently.  Needless to say, I was instantly amazed and quickly began to research how this was possible and how to achieve even teaching this skill.  We have an in home pool and as a mother of 2, my children’s safety is of the utmost priority.  ISR appeared in my research and I reached out to the closest instructor in my area who was 35 minutes away.  My husband and I made the decision to enroll Roman, who was 18 months old at the time, and committed to this safety measure. Despite our hectic full time work schedules, commute, and emotional rollercoaster, it was the one of the best decisions we ever made, beyond worth it!  Watching Roman grow his skills week by week and him being able to rollback onto his back and float on his own was a proud moment and a relief that he would be able to “Self-Rescue”TM in the event of any accidents.  I knew that I wanted other parents to feel and experience the same feeling.

I have spent over 160 hours training to become part of the solution to “not one more child drowns” and have dedicated my time to offer this amazing program to families in my area.  I look forward to meeting you and your children by the pool!
